At Mud Ireland we are proud to say our pottery is 100% by handcrafted here in Northern Ireland, our Master Potter Josh make every piece from scratch on the Potter’s Wheel. From a simple ball of clay, to a finished piece, a potter’s hand is in control every step of the way. If you look carefully at the base of a pot, you will even find the hand carved signature of it’s maker!
Our luxurious pottery is designed for both Beauty and Function. Our distinctive, timeless nature inspired glaze on top of a Donegal speckle clay, which also provides a core strength that stands up to everyday use… And the dishwasher!
With a 20.5cm diameter and a 4.8cm depth, these pasta bowls are prefect for your Dolmio day! They are a really versatile pot and can be used to serve anything from lasagne or carbonara to a nice irish stew! The beautiful thing about these pots is that they each have their own unique character and personality, which adds an extra dimension of satisfaction and intimacy to the way we eat, drink and live our lives.
The Wild Atlantic Way is a breathtaking route along the West Coast of Ireland, where the powerful Atlantic tides and storms have carved an epic, mystical landscape. A Wild intersection between land and sea, with stunning vistas from the Towering Cliffs of Moher to the spellbinding Bays of Donegall.
Our Wild Atlantic bowls are handcrafted as a tribute to this beauty, with a dark Atlantic blue glaze, crashing through Teal and Seafoam White onto a bare Donegal Speckle clay, a tactile memory of Ireland’s coarse, golden sand. With a 17 Fl.oz capacity, these general purpose bowls are prefect for everything from cereal and soup, to a nice Irish stew! They measure 7.5cm tall x 15.5 cm wide.
*Due to the nature of Handcrafted Products, your pot may vary from photographs, particularly with Our Wild Atlantic Way pieces, each piece can be very different from the last. All of our pots go through rigorous quality control, however on occasion you may find small marks or imperfections that come about through hand making. You may find a few hairline cracks or pinholes in the glaze, a slightly wobbly rim or even a few fingerprints on the side! Don’t worry… These “imperfections” are an integral part of what makes your piece so unique! If there is ever a more serious issue or your piece arrives damaged, we will be more than happy to replace it.*
